Request a Security Assessment Call (410) 977-1510

Veteran Owned · Pasadena, Maryland

A Maryland security firm you can actually reach.

Trained personnel, scope agreed in writing, and an owner who takes the call himself. Police Protection Services LLC has been built around a single line of accountability rather than a sales layer.

The Company

Built around the assignment, not the package.

Police Protection Services LLC provides armed uniformed security guards, off-duty police officers, loss-prevention officers, K-9 officers, and mobile patrol guards to businesses, institutions, communities, and private clients across Maryland. The work ranges from a single overnight post on a construction site to a standing program across several properties.

Founder and President Chris Itnyre is a former K-9 handler whose background covers search and rescue, explosives detection, narcotics detection, and officer training. That is why detection work is a core capability here rather than something referred out, and it is a large part of why the firm plans assignments the way it does: the deployment is worked out before anyone is scheduled, not after the first incident report.

Clients talk to Chris on the assessment call, and that is also who they reach when a schedule changes or something happens on site.

One line of accountability, from quote to post order

For most buyers evaluating a security provider under time pressure, that single line of accountability turns out to matter more than any brochure. It means the person who agreed the scope is the person who answers when the scope is tested.

How patrol duties get written

Random or scheduled patrols are built to the property rather than to a standard route. Duties can include door and perimeter checks, lighting and condition reports, parking enforcement, access monitoring, and any other function agreed with the client. Each of those is written into the post orders before the first visit, along with what counts as an exception and who gets called when one occurs.

The documentation matters as much as the presence. A lighting report is what gets a dark stretch of parking lot funded. A logged unauthorized vehicle is what supports a tow. A written record of every visit is what a board, an owner, or an insurer is usually asking to see.

Personnel

Assignments draw on armed and unarmed officers, off-duty and retired police officers, K-9 handlers, and loss-prevention personnel. Training references across the company include first aid, conflict resolution, surveillance, and standard security procedures. Which of those a site actually needs is part of what the assessment call is for.

What We Hold To

Four commitments that shape every assignment.

These are the things a client can hold us to before an officer is ever scheduled. They are also the reasons organizations move to this firm from a larger provider.

Start with an assessment
  1. Off-duty and retired police officers

Sworn law-enforcement experience is available on assignments where presence, judgment, and familiarity with how an incident escalates make the difference.

  2. K-9 capability in house

Founder Chris Itnyre is a former K-9 handler. Narcotics, explosives, and search work is a core competence here rather than a referral to somebody else.

  3. You talk to the owner

The assessment call is with the person accountable for the assignment, not a call center. That is also who you reach when something needs to change.

  4. Scope agreed before deployment

Duties, reporting, and escalation are written down first, so the officer on site is not deciding your policy at three in the morning.
