Executive Protection

Protection that stays out of the frame.

Protection that works best when nobody watching can tell it is there.

Executive and personal protection is planned around a person and an itinerary rather than a building. That means advance work: the venue, the route, the arrival and departure points, who else will be present, and what the exposure actually is. Most of the value is in the planning that happens before anyone gets in a vehicle.

Discretion is a working requirement, not a selling point. Detail size, dress, and posture are set to match the environment, whether that is a board meeting, a public appearance, a termination, a court date, or a private family matter.

Scope

What an assignment can cover

Not every assignment uses all of this. The assessment call decides which parts apply to your site, and the ones that do get written into the post orders before anyone is scheduled.

  1. Advance planning

Venue, route, arrival, and departure reviewed before the day, with contingencies agreed.

  2. Close protection

Single-officer or detail coverage sized to the exposure and the setting.

  3. Secure transport and escorts

Movement between locations, including airport and venue transfers.

  4. Residential and workplace coverage

Temporary protection at a home or office during an elevated-risk period.

  5. Event and appearance support

Coordination with venue security, event staff, and local agencies.

  6. Threat awareness

A read on the specific concern that prompted the call, and how it changes the plan.

On Site

How the work actually runs

Close protection is mostly planning. Routes, arrival and departure points, timing, who else knows the schedule, and what happens if any of it changes are worked out before the assignment begins. The visible portion — an officer nearby — is the smallest part of the work and is deliberately unremarkable.

Assignments are staffed by personnel chosen for judgment as much as capability, including off-duty and retired officers where the situation calls for law-enforcement experience. Discretion is a working requirement: the objective is that colleagues, customers, and family notice nothing unusual.

Straight Answer

When this is not what you need

Personal protection is the most schedule-sensitive service offered here, and it depends on honest information about the situation. Where the concern is a property rather than a person, property security or patrol is the appropriate service.

Common Questions

Questions we are asked first

If yours is not here, it is a good first question for the call.

Call (410) 977-1510
Is protection always visible?

No. Many assignments are deliberately low-profile, with personnel dressed and positioned to blend into the setting. Visible presence is a choice, and sometimes it is the wrong one.

Can you cover a single meeting or hearing?

Yes. Single-day and part-day assignments are common, including terminations, hearings, and one-off appearances.

Do you handle travel outside Maryland?

Call to discuss it. Travel assignments are quoted individually based on the itinerary and the destinations involved.
